BOSTON -- A teenager delivering pizza helped save an Athol, Mass., family from their burning home earlier this week, Boston station WCVB reported.Donald Hager was delivering a pizza on Tremont Street when he saw the fire."I looked up, and I could see some flames above where the window is. So, I immediately just dropped my delivery bag and I got on my cell phone and called 911 and everything," he said."I would encourage everyone to follow his example. He is a very good kid," Athol Police Department Chief Timothy Anderson said."I ran into the house because I saw there were some kids inside, so I ran in and ripped the door open, and I was like, 'Hey, your house is on fire. You have to get out. Your house is on fire,'" Donald said.Candy Kuehl and her family, who were inside the home, were unaware of the fire."He said that he came by and saw flames. My husband told us all to get out," she said.Donald's dad is a police sergeant."He put the 911 call through on the cell phone, dropped the pizza onto the roadway and gave necessary information. He went inside and told the people to get out because they were not aware that the upstairs was on fire," Donald's father, Sgt. Kent Hager said.
