The Middletons visit royal baby in hospital

LONDON - The parents of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, arrived at the hospital in London Tuesday to visit their daughter and royal grandchild.

Carole and Michael Middleton smiled at the crowd as they went in.

The Middletons were overjoyed after the short visit with William, Kate and the baby.

"The baby is absolutely beautiful. They are both doing well. We are absolutely thrilled," said Carole.

The baby, who will be known as the Prince of Cambridge, was born Monday weighing 8 pounds and 6 ounces.

The name of the child, who is third in line to the British throne, has not yet been revealed.

Catherine and Prince William are expected to leave the hospital sometime Tuesday.
