“Dancing with the Stars” enters the wonderful world of Disney on Monday.
The nine remaining couples are not only back with their original partners, but are practicing Disney-themed dances. Each dance will resemble a classic Disney film, but the stars aren’t giving away their character just yet.
Meryl Davis and Maks are set to perform a samba. She clearly has no problems juggling her DWTS duties with her ice dancing.
Meryl’s ice dancing partner, Charlie White, and Sharna are working on a jazz.
Paralympic snowboarder Amy Purdy and Derek are touching up a waltz.
Actress Danica McKellar and Val are working on a quickstep.
Nickelodeon star James Maslow and Peta are putting together a contemporary.
A long day, but a great day. Crashing early. A goodnight to you from captain mouse ears. http://t.co/HmGmd7LNtf— James Maslow (@jamesmaslow) April 13, 2014
Singer Cody Simpson and Witney are rehearsing a samba. He seems excited.
Actress Candace Cameron and Mark are also rehearsing, but it sounds like a health issue could impact her performance.
Reality star NeNe Leaks and Tony are touching up a foxtrot.
Good Nite! Gotta get my toes together for Dancing With The Stars💃Love u all & Thanks 4 tuning in😘— NeNe Leakes (@NeNeLeakes) April 14, 2014
Comedian Drew Carey and Cheryl are working up a sweat with their quickstep.
Elimination’s also return tonight. The last star was eliminated before Billy Dee Williams weeks ago, and he actually withdrew from the competition due to health reasons.
As for Monday’s elimination, it is most likely between NeNe, Drew and Cameron. NeNe and Drew are the lower scoring stars, but she improved a lot and he finally showed off his fun side, while Cameron slipped in scores the past two weeks. If her residual fan base doesn’t pull for her, it could be goodbye, D.J. Tanner.
Former DWTS champ Donny Osmond will also serve as guest judge, when the competition continues Monday night at 8:00 on ABC.
