Cleveland's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame simulcast the HBO taping of the 2014 inductions from New York

Invited fans watched the show on the big screen

CLEVELAND - Cleveland’s the home of rock and roll. But tonight's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony was in the Big Apple at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn.

So, the Rock Hall invited fans of inductees like Nirvana, Cat Stevens, KISS and Peter Gabriel to watch a simulcast of the HBO event on the big screen.

“I think this is like the best class the Rock Hall has inducted in a long time, I love every single band and act that is being inducted tonight especially I’m very excited about kiss and the E Street Band," said KISS fan Lisa Mikol.

"I’m looking forward the most to the surprises, there's always a surprise in the induction, sometimes so good, sometimes not so good but always entertaining," said Sirius Radio DJ Dusty Street.

HBO will air the edited Rock Hall induction ceremony on May 31, 2014. The induction ceremony was last here in 2012. Next year they return to Cleveland.
