Quaker Steak & Lube hosts 'mini muni lot' tailgate party for 'Draft Day' premiere

VALLEY VIEW, Ohio - The parking lot at the Quaker Steak & Lube in Valley View Friday night took on the look of a mini-Muni Lot prior to a Browns game.

Cornhole games, RVs decked out with Browns pennants and lots of barking but the game they were awaiting was actually a movie.

Across the parking lot, the Cinemark movie theater was playing multiple showings of the movie Draft Day.

Joe McElwain, who along with brother Bud make up the Dawgbrothers, was excited to see if he made the cut in the movie.

"I'm almost positive I am but I think if you blink, you'll probably miss me," he said.

Joe Hoffman brought his daughter Jazmin in a VW Beetle to the tailgate-style party for the premiere of the football movie, much of which was filmed in Cleveland.

Joe's Beetle, styled in Browns colors, contained his old Municipal Stadium seat with 140 autographs from Browns greats.

"Food, drink, beer, good times and wanting to support a winner, that's what this is about," he said.

Fans, dressed up in all manner of Dawg costumes, stood for a group photo with 'Chomps' the Browns mascot as Browns player Gary Barnidge looked on.

The charity 4 Kids received the proceeds of beer sales at the party.
