New trailer for the Browns-centric 'Draft Day' movie starring Kevin Costner debuts

Cleveland native wrote the screenplay

CLEVELAND - The talk last summer may have been about Captain America but "Draft Day," a Kevin Costner-starring movie about the Cleveland Browns, may be the one you'd rather see.

With the real NFL Draft still months away--but with the team's immediate future still in the balance depending on its outcome--the release of the "Draft Day" trailer should have movie and sports fan talking.

The movie also stars Jennifer Garner, Denis Leary, Frank Langella, Terry Crews, Sam Elliot, Ellen Burstyn and a host of recognizable talking heads from sports.

Written by Cleveland native and Pulitzer-nominated playwright Rajiv Joseph, "Draft Day" follows a fictional Browns general manager, Sonny (Costner), trying to rebuild a winning team for the proud but perennially-losing franchise.

"Draft Day" was also directed by Ivan Reitman, who also helmed "Ghostbusters" and is a producer on "Ghostbusters III," which was recently rumored to be considering Cleveland as a filming location. Officials would not confirm or deny the rumors.

Just judging from the trailer, which you can watch below or by clicking this link, how likely are you to see "Draft Day"? Are you hoping for a happy ending for the movie ...and the team?

"Draft Day" is slated for an April 2014 release.
