'Captain America: Winter Soldier' casting call: Paid extras audition at Tri-C Metro Campus

CLEVELAND - If you want your chance to star in Marvel's "Captain America: Winter Soldier" movie set to film portions in Cleveland, get ready to audition.

A casting call for paid extras in the latest "Captain America" movie will be held Friday and Saturday.

Anyone interested can come to the Tri-C Metro Campus (2415 Woodland Ave.) on April 19 and 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Here are the requirements for extras:

- Be 18 years old or older
- If you have a child 9 years old and over, bring a current, casual snapshot of them
- Bring a pen for application. Your photo will be taken at no charge
- Dress in business attire and "be well groomed"

May 20

E. 6th St. between Superior Ave. and Euclid Ave.
- Alternate route: Intermittent traffic control
- More info: A lane will be maintained for access to the 515 Euclid garage. Garages at Vincent Ave. have access via E. 9th St.

May 23

E. 6th St. between St. Clair Ave. and Lakeside Ave.
- Alternate route: E. 9th St.

The city said updates on "Captain America" traffic advisories can be followed by checking #CLECaptTraffic and some closures may also affect RTA customers.

Marvel's "The Avengers" used Cleveland as a backdrop in the summer of 2011, closing down a section of East 9th Street for nearly a month.
