CLEVELAND - The King of Pop, Michael Jackson was known for his style on and off the stage. Now you will have the opportunity to meet Jackson's longtime costume designer and personal friend Michael Bush and purchase his new book, The King of Style: Dressing Michael Jackson.
Bush will be at Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum on Friday, Dec. 21 from 3 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Bush and his partner Dennis Tompkins worked personally with Jackson for more than 24 years. The book features photographs and a behind the scenes look into the process of collaborating with one of the world's most powerful entertainers.
As part of the event, a display of exclusive Michael Jackson costumes from the Bush & Tompkins collection, featured in the book, will also be on exhibit for this one day only.
There is no admission to come to this event.
However, there is an admission charge if you want to visit the Rock Hall's permanent exhibit dedicated to Michael Jackson. It's in the Legends of Rock exhibit in the Ahmet M. Ertegun Main Exhibit Hall. This exhibit is one of the largest collections of Michael Jackson's personal items. It includes his iconic glove, a "Thriller" werewolf mask that Jackson wore on the Dangerous World Tour and the jacket he wore to the 1984 Grammy Ceremony.
