It's official. Fall is here. The autumn season brings many things to the table including football, cozy sweaters, bonfires, pumpkin-flavored food and drinks and -- in northeast Ohio -- clambakes.
Whether you decide to host one at home or leave the cooking to the professionals, we've gathered a list of area clambakes around northeast Ohio.

When: 4-10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28
Details: One dozen clams, oven-roasted chicken, corn on the cob, sweet potato, pasta with clam sauce, salad, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages

When: 1-9 p.m. (dinner at 3 p.m.) Sunday, Sept. 29
Details: Presented by Brennan's Catering; One dozen clams, baked chicken, potatoes, salad, rolls and one cocktail/beer.
Where: West Side Irish American Club – Pavilion ; 8559 Jennings Rd., Omsted Township
When: 6-10 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5
Details: One dozen steamed clams, half an oven-roasted chicken, sweet corn on the cob, sweet potato, cole slaw, roll and butter, unlimited soda, beer and wine.
Charity: Fundraiser for Secondhand Mutts. The organization is raising money to cover the cost of surgery to restore the sight for a special dog named Ruby, who was recently adopted by her foster mother. Ruby will make a special appearance at 7 p.m. at the clambake.

When: 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5; Ticket cut off Oct. 1
Details: One dozen clams, chicken, sweet potato, corn, roll and butter
Cost: $22 per person; Extra dozen clams: $7; Tickets on sale at Legion Canteen, 921 N. Lake St. to members and their guests.
Where: First Congregational Church of Twinsburg – UCC; 9050 Church St., Twinsburg
When: 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19; Orders due Sunday, Oct. 13
Details: Clams or shrimp, chicken, potatoes and corn. Piano recital held in sanctuary following clambake. Dessert to be served after recital.
Cost: $25 per person

When: Daily until the end of October
Details: All bakes are served with a cup of broth, one dozen middle neck clams, cup of clam chowder, corn on the cob, sweet potato, melon and famous fried dough and cinnamon honey butter.

Details: Chef Comellas original clambake includes one dozen middleneck clams, plump half chicken, sweet potato, local sweet corn, cole slaw and roll and butter, plasticware, paperware and returnable steamer with complete directions.
Cost: $17.95 per dinner
Where: Lobster Brothers ; 26055 Detroit Rd., Cantebury Square, Westlake
Details: DIY basic to fully-prepared options that range from $16.50 to $20.99 per person. All options include a seasoned half chicken, one dozen Rhode Island littleneck clams, sweet corn, sweet potato, cole slaw, dinner roll, butter for clams and steamer, paper products and utensils. A la carte items can be added.
