CLEVELAND -- The "Spider-Man 3" invasion continues Monday on the streets of downtown Cleveland. Crews have already been busy filming scenes. Streets have been packed with curious Clevelanders trying to get a peek at the movie in the making. Film crews are on Euclid Avenue from East 18th Street to Public Square and East 9th Street from Prospect Avenue to St. Clair Avenue. The set is closed to the public but NewsChannel5 got a behind-the-scenes peek. April 24: 'Spider-Man 3' Set Trailers are set up for the stars like Toby McGuire, Kirsten Dunst and the movie's directors, NewsChannel5 reported. There are also about 200 extras from northeast Ohio who are getting a shot at the big screen. They were in makeup and wardrobe this weekend, putting in long days from 5 a.m. until 8 p.m. The trailers are filled with clothes to make Cleveland look like New York City. There's still a lot to be done to work out all the stunt scenes. "It's going to run all these blocks down Euclid. They'll do a car chase and an armored car slams into a few things and stuff like that," said Lou DeMarco with the camera crew. So far, police said traffic has not really been a problem. On Tuesday, Spider Man will face a new threat. Blocked-off streets will greet fans headed to the Indians game and the second Cavaliers playoff game.
