It looks like spring has finally hit Cleveland and that means one thing: getting outside of the house to experience the fun things that are going on around Northeast Ohio.

1.  All aboard!

What better way is there to see all the greenery that nature has to offer than taking a three-hour train ride through the Cuyahoga County National Valley. Did we mention you can have breakfast, brunch, or lunches on the train? Breakfast starts at 10 a.m.

Purchase tickets here.

2.  Spring has sprung at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens

Say goodbye to spring with wall-to-wall flowers and larger-than-life ladybugs. The Cleveland Botanical Gardens creates indoor and outdoor spring installations that include an indoor hedge maze, a glass house with butterflies, tortoises and other crawling critters.

Saturday, March 18- April 23

3. Cleveland Home & Remodeling Expo

Returning for the fourth year, this three-day remodeling expo at the Huntington Convention Center will feature hundreds of local exhibitors to help you get your lawn ready for the spring and summer seasons.

4. Rubber City Beer Fest

Get outside and drink beer? That's what organizers of the third annual Rubber City Beer Fest want you to do. With more room this year and more than 30 breweries participating, attendees can take advantage of Akron's warm weather at Lock 3.  For $40, you will get a 30  2oz. beer tasting tickets. Food trucks and Dixieland Band and Rhode Street Rude Boys will be busting out some tunes!

Saturday, March 25, from 3 p.m. -7 p.m. at Lock 3. Buy tickets here.

5. The Cleveland Zoo

Always a classic, the zoo has an array of animals and exhibits. Visitors won't be the only ones enjoying the weather, the animals will be more likely out and about interacting with their natural habitats. Open all weekend long from Monday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
