SANDUSKY, Ohio -- The Firelands Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold an auction for coaster enthusiasts who want to be among the first riders on Cedar Point's new ride, maXair.

In conjunction with the amusement park, the Red Cross will auction off seats to the 50 highest bidders, with bids starting at $75.

A winning bid includes breakfast at the park, a commemorative medallion, an inaugural ride on maXair and free admission on opening day, May 7.

Proceeds will benefit various Red Cross programs.
