SANDUSKY, Ohio -- Cedar Point's "top thrill" remains a top dud.
NewsChannel5 reported park officials said a team of engineers and designers are once again working to fix hydraulics on the Top Thrill Dragster. The world's tallest, fastest roller coaster has been grounded several times in the last few weeks because of problems with its hydraulic-launch system, which propels riders at 120 mph up a 420-foot track. Although crews were still working Thursday to try to fix the ride, the park hopes to have it ready to roll by the July 4 weekend. If you would like to check on the status of the ride, call the park's information line at 1-419-627-2350 or visit www.cedarpoint.com.
