SANDUSKY, Ohio -- Thousands of coaster enthusiasts got a big letdown this weekend. Cedar Point's newest thrill ride was closed again for repairs.
According to NewsChannel5, an amusement park spokesperson said the Top Thrill Dragster was shut down Wednesday due to a hydraulics problem.
The timing couldn't have been worse for those who traveled across the country to ride the record-breaking coaster, NewsChannel5 said. More than 2,500 people came to the park this weekend for Cedar Point's annual Coaster Mania. The Top Thrill Dragster has been closed several times since its May 1 debut. Officials said they are not sure when it will reopen.
