Fans who can't be a part of the memorial in Los Angeles are getting a chance to say goodbye to Michael Jackson in northeast Ohio.

At Kent State University, fans wearing purple armbands gathered at Oscar Ritchie Hall to remember Jackson, light a candle and watch the memorial service together.

The Department of Pan African Studies, which is sponsoring the event, is also seeking donations to give to one of Jackson's favorite charities.

House Of Wills

A Cleveland funeral home will hold a memorial tribute to honor the King Of Pop.

At 4 p.m., fans will get together to reminisce and listen to Jackson tunes at the House of Wills Funeral Home on Harvard Avenue.

Rock Hall

A new Michael Jackson memorial wall was unveiled Tuesday at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

Fans are already lining up to see the exhibit in the Ahmet M. Ertegun Main Exhibit Hall. Some of the artifacts have never been seen before.

The Rock Hall will also host a candlelight vigil in honor of Jackson’s life and legacy Tuesday evening.

The vigil will begin at 9 p.m. and will include a special program honoring the two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.

The program will include a short memorial presentation by Pastor Jawanza Colvin of the Olivet Institutional Baptist Church and Terry Stewart, president and CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

The program will also feature fan testimonials and a candlelight vigil on the museum’s plaza.

A limited supply of candles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis courtesy of the Rock Hall. Museum representatives said fans are welcome to bring a Jackson-inspired memento to add to the wall.
