Newest Bachelor Has Local Roots
The next bachelor has northeast Ohio roots. Jason Mesnick, who was rejected by DeAnna Pappas, will begin his journey for love when the next installment of "The Bachelor" begins Monday night on ABC. Mesnick, who is a Cleveland native, moved to Washington at the age of 8. He is an account executive in estate and legacy planning. He will be looking for a woman who has a real curiosity about the world, who loves life and can find passion in life's smallest moments. He also loves a variety of sports, including swimming, golf, basketball and football.Pappas picked Jesse Csincsak, a professional snowboarder, from Amherst. They set a May wedding date but since have broken up.The second bachelorette, Jen Schefft, also had roots in northeast Ohio. She was engaged to Andrew Firestone but their engagement was also called off.
