According to a new report from the FBI, federal agents knew about O.J. Simpson's plan to retrieve items he thought to be his.

The report said memorabilia dealer Thomas Riccio told FBI agents on Aug. 21 that Simpson wanted to televise the operation as he confronted a collector who was peddling thousands of pieces of Simpson's memorabilia.

Simpson's lawyers have not commented on the report's information at this time.

Simpson was arrested in September in connection with an armed robbery at the Palace Station Hotel-Casino.

According to police, he and five other people -- Charles Cashmore, Michael McClinton, Walter Alexander, Clarence Stewart and Charles Ehrlich -- entered into a hotel room with weapons to take hundreds of pieces of memorabilia.

Simpson, Stewart and Ehrlich will be back in court next week for their preliminary hearing on more than 10 charges associated with the alleged robbery.

Alexander, Cashmore and McClinton have all pleaded guilty to different charges. They will all testify against Simpson once the case goes to trial.
