Country Star Darryl Worley Strips Down For Playgirl

Singer Says He Only Did What Was Comfortable

POSTED: 7:57 am EDT June 4, 2007

Darryl Worley is stripping down for Playgirl magazine. He's keeping his pants on, but he does shed his shirt.

He's featured in the July issue. Worley told CMT, Country Music Television, that he only did poses he felt comfortable with. He said, "I don't want to sit in a certain way or pose if it don't feel natural."

CMT reported that former Nashville Star runner-up Jason Meadows also appears shirtless in the magazine. They are not the only country artists who have been featured in Playgirl. Others include Keith Urban, Billy Currington, David Kersh and Aaron Tippin.

Monday night, Worley appears on the "Late Late Show" on CBS to perform his song "Living in the Here and Now." And on Wednesday, Worley will serve as the Grand Marshal for the CMA Music Festival Kickoff Parade in Nashville.

Others in the procession will include Blue County, Jason Michael Carroll, Jennifer Hanson, Tanya Tucker and Pam Tillis.
