UPDATED: 11:44 am EDT May 27, 2007

Three people were slightly injured Saturday on a Cedar Point Amusement Park roller coaster.

Officials said it happened on the Magnum XL-200 around noon. One train ending its ride failed to stop and hit another at a loading station. The moving train was going about 10 mph.

Fifty-nine people were on board the trains. Two passengers were treated and released at a first aid center. One was taken to a local hospital with asthma problems, officials said.

"Safety is our No. 1 priority here," Said spokesman Bryan Edwards.

The Magnum has never had an accident before, officials said. It will remain closed until an investigation can be completed.

The Magnum, a steel coaster with a 205-foot drop and a top speed of 72 mph, was the world's tallest and fastest roller coaster when it debuted in 1989.
