Student Confesses To Writing Threatening Graffiti At School

UPDATED: 7:09 am EST March 22, 2006

A teenager who threatened to kill her classmates Tuesday has confessed, NewsChannel5 reported.

The Richmond Heights High School student has been suspended after she said she wrote threatening graffiti on a bathroom stall.

School officials said the note was found Tuesday morning. Students said the note threatened that all black kids in the school would be killed at noon.

She said she wrote the graffiti because she was angy with two students. However, she said she never planned to carry out the threat.

The threat frightened many students into leaving school early after calling their parents on cell phones.

Police reviewed surveillance cameras and writing samples before questioning the student.

She could be expelled or even be charged with a hate crime and inducing panic.
