Charter School Reopens After Closing For Several Days

Meeting To Be Held At 4:30 P.M.

POSTED: 7:02 am EDT October 18, 2005

Students will head to class at the International Preparatory School Tuesday, but the school's future remains unclear, NewsChannel5 reported.

State Auditor Betty Montgomery called for the school to close last week after releasing reports showing illegal spending of state money.

The charter school is holding an emergency meeting to discuss its future. Parents are encouraged to attend. The meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. at the school.
