HUDSON, Ohio -- School administrators in the Hudson School District said they're concerned about rumors of an event that could put students' safety at risk, NewsChannel5 reported.
The school's Web site has sent a letter to parents saying they are concerned about a possible activity at the high school on Friday that involves students hurting themselves or others. It is written by Greg Vogelsong, director of Pupil Personnel Services.

DISCUSSION: Share Your Story The letter goes on to say officials are interviewing students and working with police. If you or your child has any information about this matter, you are asked to call the school's helpline at 1-800-418-6423, ext. 359. Students at the school have been protesting the school board's decision not to renew Principal Roger Howard's contract. Last week, a student walkout led to a confrontation with police and students being hit with pepper spray. Students left the high school and marched over to the superintendent's office with the hope of getting their principal's job back.
