Cleveland Metropolitan Schools CEO Eugene Sanders passed up a contract extension for a second time.

The Plain Dealer reported that Sanders wants to stay until at least 2016 but he doesn't want to sign a new contract right now.

Sanders said he'd rather wait until right before his current contract expires.

At that time, he'll evaluate his work since arriving in Cleveland.
