CLEVELAND -- If you've every though about becoming a doctor or scientist, now is a good time.The Cleveland Clinic is offering a deal too good to pass up.The Clinic's Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University will pick up the tuition bill for its students starting with the class that begins this summer.The Lerner College of Medicine enrolls about 32 students every year and it focuses on a medical degree with a high concentration in research.It produces MD scientists specializing in biomedical research.The average medical student graduates with $150,000 in student loans. The program will be funded through endowment income.Students already enrolled at the college will also get 50 percent assistance.Training the newest generation of physician scientists is an important aspect of the Clinic’s healthcare.
