CLEVELAND - FirstEnergy is reporting scattered power outages across northeast Ohio.
At one point, Doylestown in Wayne County was without power for a while.
FirstEnergy said crews are on standby and contractor crews are ready to be deployed as the weather turns bad. It's monitoring the outages and the high winds as they push into greater Cleveland.
"We are keeping a close eye on the weather and will be ready to respond immediately to assist our customers should sustained high winds cause any problems," said Mark Julian, vice president of utility operations at FirstEnergy.
NewsChannel5 is following the storm and outages as they arrive. Good Morning Cleveland will be LIVE with all the current conditions and updates from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m.
