Groundhog Day 2013 forecast: Punxsutawney Phil does not see shadow meaning early spring ahead

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. - Furry little Punxsutawney Phil came out of his burrow in Gobbler's Knob in west-central Pennsylvania to predict an early spring.
About 20,000 people came out for Groundhog Day Saturday. The community held its welcome-back bash for the famous winter-weather prognosticator — the so-called seer of seers and sage of sages.
Legend has it that if the groundhog sees his shadow on Feb. 2, winter will last six more weeks. No shadow means an early spring.
But Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow and that means an early spring is ahead for all of us,
