CLEVELAND - A worker narrowly missed being hit by debris after lightning struck a downtown Cleveland building Monday morning.

A lightning bolt struck the the West 10th Street side of the Bridgeview Apartment building in the Warehouse District at about 10:30 a.m.

Bricks fell to the sidewalk from the top of the high-rise building, grazing a Downtown Cleveland Alliance worker who was on-duty cleaning up the sidewalk.

Cleveland firefighters said the worker was not injured, but definitely shook up after the incident.
