HENRYVILLE, Ind. - Video released Friday from a surveillance camera inside a school bus shows the destruction of the March 2 tornadoes.
An EF4 tornado hit Henryville, Ind., on March 2, and the school bus in the video player above was caught in the middle of it. (Note to mobile users: Go to a browser version of newsnet5.com to watch the video).
Winds tear apart the windows and pick up the entire bus, throwing it across the street and into a building.
The bus weighs close to 3,600 pounds, and it was moved easily by the power of the EF4 tornado.
The 11 students and bus driver in the bus got out safely just three minutes before the twister hit. They took cover in Henryville High School.
