CLEVELAND - Winter is sticking around as spring begins with lake effect snow hitting portions of northeast Ohio Thursday morning.
West winds are fueling the snow band that is likely to stick around throughout the morning, Power of 5 Meteorologist Trent Magill says. Most areas will only see light snow but pockets of moderate snow are likely.
Snow coated the ground in Sheffield and was falling in Avon, as well.
Good Morning Cleveland’s Terrence Lee was out tracking snow across the region. He said there was a good coating on Crocker Road in Westlake just before 6 a.m.
It is cold too, morning wind chills in the single digits.
