MANSFIELD, Ohio - Meteorologist Jason Nicholas visited the Richland County Fair Tuesday to speak about all things weather.

He spoke to a group of 40 to 50 children and adults about severe weather tracking, his weather career and what a typical day consists of for a meteorologist.

Nicholas also talked about covering a snowstorm and showed video of different types of tornadoes. The group asked questions about waterspouts, tornadoes and the best and worst parts about being a meteorologist.

The Richland County Fair runs through Saturday at the Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield.
