CLEVELAND - All airlines at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport have canceled outgoing flights through at least noon Tuesday.

An airport spokesperson said the airport itself is open, but that the airlines elected to stop those flights due to severe weather from Hurricane Sandy. The spokesperson also said incoming flights are "few and far between."

Winds picked up significantly Monday afternoon, causing massive waves to hit the Shoreway in Cleveland.
