______________
The trough will have little effect on inland areas other than reinforcing our colder weather. Morning snow showers along primary snowbelt will give way to mostly cloudy conditions for the afternoon. During the week, our highs will warm into the 40s, but for today, mid 30s will be the rule.
Update: 7:15 AM Snow has been slow to materialize, but we're still expecting some lake-effect snow showers for the primary snowbelt. Any snow is expected to stop falling by the late afternoon. A little snow is falling west of Wellington, between Wakeman and New London.
Update 10:15 AM Snow is falling along the lakeshore counties from Rocky River to Ashtabula. Snowfall will continue to be light. Other areas are seeing cloudy skies. Temperatures are universally cold, hovering in the mid 30s. With winds around 15 mph, many area feel as though it's in the mid 20s.
Update 11:38 AM Snow is drifting further inland reaching Elyria, Solon and Burton
