Clouds are quickly clearing this afternoon. Counties east of Cleveland will be the last to clear. Most areas will see sunshine by 1 p.m.

High pressure will keep sun in the forecast this afternoon as it moves toward the Mid-Atlantic. Warm, southerly winds will flow into Northeast Ohio, boosting temperatures to the low 50s.

Clouds will increase this evening as a warm front hangs over Lake Erie, but football playoff games will be dry. Expect evening temperatures in the upper 40s.

Overnight, temperatures will fall to the low 40s with a chance of showers after midnight.

Isolated showers are possible along the lake Saturday morning as the warm front moves north, otherwise look for increasing sunshine by Saturday afternoon. Despite high clouds, temperatures will soar to the low 60s.

The warmest and sunniest day of the weekend will be Sunday, Veterans Day. Highs will exceed 65 degrees in many areas.

The cold front we were tracking for late Monday/early Tuesday has sped up a bit. Rain is likely after sunset Monday through early Tuesday.

Temperatures will drop to the 40s behind the front Tuesday afternoon. Building high pressure will keep the forecast dry Wednesday and Thursday.
