10:00 pm Update: Clouds will gradually thin out overnight. I still can't rule out a brief rain shower coming in off of Lake Erie. Low temperatures will fall back into the lower and middle 40s.

High pressure will slide in from the west on Wednesday. Skies should be mainly sunny across the area. A few extra Lake Effect clouds are possible northeast of Cleveland thru the afternoon as cool northerly breezes blow across the lake. Temperatures will be fall-like. High will climb into the lower and middle 60s.

8:00 pm Update:  A few isolated showers continue to move east through Cuyahoga, Lake & Medina Counties. Temperatures falling fast through the 50s. Grab a sweater!

6:00 pm Update: Light rain showers have invaded Cleveland. Other showers are near Toledo, Ashland, & Mansfield. Isolated rain showers are possible through the evening. Temps in the 50s.

4:05 pm Update: Rain showers moving into the Lake Erie Islands now stretching south to Fremont. SHowers will slide east @ 25 mph and effect into Sandusky, Huron & perhaps Vermilion in the next 90 minutes.

3:22 pm Update: Afternoon rush should be dry. Main area of rain is east of us now in Western Pennsylvania. A few showers near Detroit will rotate southeast into North East Ohio this evening. These showers will not be wide-spread. Temperatures area-wide will be in the 50s thru 9pm. Breezy conditions may warrant a sweater or hoodie if you are going outside this evening.

Showers are moving west to east through northern Ohio. I expect most to being to taper and move out by 2-3pm. The exception may be across the east, and downwind of Lake Erie. It'll be breezy and cooler with temps settling in the upper 50s.

Update: Steady rain has moved east into Pennsylvania and New York. Scattered showers will affect Northeast Ohio through noon. After a cold front passes, expect breezy conditions and cooler temperatures for the rest of the day. I can't rule out a few showers for the Indians game this evening. Expect temperatures in the upper 50s!

Low pressure moving up the Appalachians will produce rain in Northeast Ohio. Expect light to moderate rain for the morning commute.

A cold front over Indiana will move into Ohio before noon, helping to end the rain threat west to east. Widely scattered showers will follow the front this afternoon and evening, mainly east of Cleveland.

Temperatures won't change much today. Expect morning readings and high temperatures in the mid-60s. Temperatures will fall to the upper 50s and low 60s this evening.

I can't rule out a few showers along the lake and east of Cleveland overnight. Otherwise, look for clearing skies and lows in the low-to-mid 40s.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are in the forecast Wednesday with cool highs in the low 60s.

Temperatures will climb to the 70s Thursday and Friday with our next front arriving late Friday. It's still too early to tell if rain will affect Friday night football games. Please check back for updates!
