We're seeing things clear out nicely as a cold front has moved through. Temps are in the 70s and 80s with dew points in the 60s, we should see those dew points begin to drop. West winds will be breezy tonight.
Tornado warming for Trumbull has expired.
Clearing skies are moving in from the west. Wouldn't be surprised to get some sun later this afternoon moving west to east.
A few showers and storms are lingering Sunday afternoon across northern Ohio as a cold front slides through. Temps are in the upper 70s to low 80s, where we've had some sun. We should a decrease in our rain threat through the evening before drying out later tonight.
Midday Update: As soon as the cold front pushes through, the rain will end. Until then, expect soggy weather with a few rumbles of thunder. The safe bet is to keep the umbrella around through the afternoon. The front will push through by late afternoon, drying us out and cooling us off. Temps will struggle to hit the lower 80s today with upper 70s Monday.
_____________________________
A cold front pushing through Ohio today will bring us some much needed rain. Grab your umbrella as you head out, rain and thunder likely through much of your Sunday. Stronger pockets are possible with gusty winds to 40mph early afternoon with another round of storms late afternoon and early evening. These have more potential to be strong or even severe with small hail and gusts to 60mph. The front pushes through by sunset.
As dry air rushes in behind the front, the storms will push east quickly. Our sky will clear out as north winds take over and temps drop to near 60 by sunrise Monday. Expect a much more comfortable start to the work-week. Highs Monday will struggle to hit the upper 70s before dropping into to 50s Monday night.
We eventually rebound back into the middle 80s by mid-week with more storms toward the end of next week.
