CLEVELAND - Evening Update: Most of the rain has shifted east and out of Ohio. This will be the story for the overnight hours as well. Plan for a mainly dry evening but don't rule out an isolated shower. The clouds will keep temps from dropping too quickly overnight. Expect morning temps to dip to near 40º before sunrise.
6:00 pm Update: Temperatures are holding steady in the upper 40s and have been all day. Grab the jackets before you head out this evening but you can leave the umbrellas at home.

Afternoon Update: Scattered shower slowly sliding east are keeping us cool on the Saturday. We will see a gradual decrease in coverage as we get closer to sunset but temperatures will stay cool. Keep the jackets and sweaters on through the day.
8:45 am Update: Light/moderate rain continues to push through Ohio. The steady rain has slid east and is on a line from Tuscarawas County to Ashtabula County. West of I-77 will still see scattered rain through the rest of the morning and afternoon. Temperatures will stay cool and in the 40s much of the day.
Frankenstorm! That will be the headline for the next several days. We have a rare event setting up for much of next week bringing us strong wind, heavy rain and cooler temperatures through much of next week. Before that sets up though we have to talk about our wet weekend.
Friday's slow moving cold front has slowed even more and will likely stick around for the weekend. Rain will continue to push through Ohio through the rest of the morning and into the afternoon. The latest models do help us out for the evening though. This rain will likely push east and out of Ohio but only briefly. We can't rule out isolated showers overnight but expect a mainly dry evening.
The rain returns Sunday as Sandy puts the entire weather pattern in reverse. Sandy will push moisture and slightly warmer temps back into Ohio. And my warmer temps, we are talking just warm enough to get rid of our snow chances. Looks like temperatures will range from near 50 each afternoon to near 40 overnight through Thursday of next week.
Each day next week has a good shot at widespread rain but Tuesday stands to be the wettest. Along with the rain comes wind, Tuesday/Wednesday will likely have winds gusting to 40mph.
