7:00 pm Update: Skies will be partly cloudy tonight. Chilly temperatures again. Lows will drop back into the lower and middle 30s.
Our gradual warm-up begins on Friday. Skies will be partly cloudy. I expect high temperatures to climb up to between 50 & 55 degrees by 5pm.
Friday night looks dry as well. Clouds will thicken up by dawn as the leading edge of the warm air moves in from the west. Lows will fall back to near 40 degrees.
A brief shower could accompany the warmer air as it moves in Saturday morning. It would be isolated. Most of you will stay dry and mainly cloudy thru the morning. More sunshine will arrive for the afternoon along with milder temperatures. Highs will climb into the lower and middle 60s.
Sunday looks breezy and mild. 65 to 70 degrees means you can get out and do some yard clean-up or even set up those Holiday light displays!
4:00 pm Update: A few patches of stratus clouds are moving across the area now. Don't worry. We'll stay dry. Temperatures will fall back into the upper 30s and lower 40s by 7pm. Grab the sweaters.
Lake effect clouds are still hanging over Lorain, Cuyahoga, Lake, Medina and portions of Summit County. But clouds will gradually decrease this afternoon. High temperatures will be cool, in the mid-40s as high pressure builds in from the west.
Overnight temperatures won't be quite as cold as this morning. Expect lows in the low-to-mid 30s with a few upper 20s in rural areas.
More sunshine is in store Friday with warmer highs in the mid-50s. Clouds will increase Friday night, but football playoff games will be dry.
A warm front will drift over Lake Erie early Saturday. It may trigger isolated showers along the lake before noon. Look for increasing afternoon sunshine and high temperatures near 60 degrees.
Sunday is my pick of the weekend. Mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-60s for Veterans Day sounds perfect!
A strong cold front arrives late Monday into early Tuesday triggering scattered showers and isolated storms. Temperatures will fall to the 40s by Tuesday.
