As Sandy pushes north, We will gradually dry out. Gradually. Throughout our Thursday scattered light to briefly moderate rain will continue to fall across our northern counties. The relatively warm lake is mixing with a cool northwest breeze fueling those showers. As we go throughout the day, winds will shift more westerly shutting the rain down along and south of I-80.

Clouds and the breezy northwest winds will keep us from warming up much today. Expect lower to middle 40s by noon with highs today in the upper 40s. So grab the coats and umbrellas as Sandy pushes away.

Friday will be very similar to today with scattered rain downwind of Lake Erie. Elsewhere, dry! Don't plan on much if any sunshine though, clouds will linger through the rest of the work-week. Over the weekend we will get in on some sunshine though, helping us dry out and clean up. Despite the sunshine, temps will stay in the 40s through the first half of November.
