CLEVELAND - 10:49 pm Update: Low clouds may be producing a few sprinkles from the Lake Erie Islands south to Mansfield. These sprinkles should fade by midnight tonight. Winds will slowly subside tonight, but it will still be a blustery evening. Temperatures will drop tonight into the middle 30s most spots under a partly cloudy sky.

Wednesday will be dry as weak high pressure moves through the area. The morning hours will be sunny. With the next low pressure system moving our way, clouds will spread into the area during the afternoon. Rain will hold off until after dark, so outdoor plans are a go! Highs will top out in the low to middle 60s.

Rain arrives Wednesday night and should linger into at least Thursday morning. The cold front will move southeast of the area during the afternoon, so we could see a little afternoon sunshine. An isolated lake effect rain shower is possible east of Cleveland Thursday afternoon. High temperatures will climb into the 55 to 60 degree range.

Cooler air arrives Friday and lingers through the weekend. Expect partly sunny skies Friday with highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Low pressure will move across southern Ohio Saturday, setting the stage for a raw wet day. Rain showers are likely through the day with high temperatures in the middle 40s. A few lingering showers are possible Sunday with highs between 45 and 50 degrees.

Noon Update: With the exception of extreme Northeastern Ohio, everyone is enjoying mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies today. I can't rule out a few light showers in Ashtabula County through the afternoon.

High temperatures will hit the mid-to-upper 50s. Ashtabula County will barely reach 50 degrees under a veil of clouds. It's still breezy, with sustained winds 15-25 mph and gusts to 35 mph.

I expect partly cloudy and dry conditions for the Indians game this evening. First pitch temperature: 49 degrees.

Low pressure over Ontario is slowly moving north. Wrap-around rain showers continue to affect Ashtabula County this morning. The chance for showers will decrease after noon.

Areas east of Cleveland will stay partly sunny today with highs near 50 degrees. Counties south and west will see sunshine and temperatures in the mid-50s.

A quick moving disturbance may bring a few showers to our southwestern counties this evening, otherwise expect dry weather and mostly clear skies overnight. Lows will fall to the mid-30s.

After a sunny morning, clouds will increase Wednesday ahead of a warm front. The front will trigger scattered showers around sunset. A cold front will follow Thursday, keeping the chance of rain in the forecast.

Some clearing is expected Friday with highs in the low 50s.

Another wet weather system arrives late Friday through Saturday. Scattered rain is likely with temperatures near 50 degrees. A few showers are possible Sunday as the system lingers nearby. Highs stay in the low 50s.
