11:00 pm Update: A large area of slow-moving high pressure will drift across the Great Lakes now thru Friday. The result will be mostly clear skies tonight with lows bottoming out near the freezing mark. Frost Advisories are up for parts of the area for tonight.
High pressure continues to dominate the weather on Thursday. Chilly northeast winds will bring in temperatures 5 to 7 degrees cooler than Wednesday's highs. That mean temperatures during the Tribe Home Opener Thursday afternoon will hang touch in the middle and upper 40s. Inland areas will see highs in the low to mid 50s. A few clouds could develop on the cool northeast flow during the afternoon. But, partly cloudy should cover it.

Lows 50s across the north coast with plenty of sun. Inland temps have risen into the upper 50s.
Noon temps are in the upper 40s lakeside and low 50s inland under plenrty of sun.
Update: Our last chance for any rain today is slowly sinking south and out of Coshocton and Tuscarawas Counties. Temps elsewhere, under clearing skies, are holding in the middle 40s. Grab your jackets today, north winds will keep most of us out of the 60s today.
A slow moving cold front is lingering near Columbus this morning. I can't rule out isolated morning showers, especially in our southern counties (Southern Ashland, Richland and Tuscarawas.) Otherwise, expect gradual clearing by afternoon.
High pressure will build over Ontario through Friday. With winds from the north, temperatures near the lake will be much cooler than inland areas. The lake water temperature is currently 44 degrees.
Today, expect a high of 54 degrees near the lake and 59 degrees Akron and south.
As much cooler air arrives from the north Thursday, highs will struggle to reach 48 degrees near the lake. Don't forget your jacket for the Home Opener!
Sunshine stays in the forecast Friday with highs in the 50s.
Warmer air wedges into Ohio Saturday and Easter Sunday. A cold front will drop in Sunday afternoon, triggering a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Next week looks MUCH cooler with highs in the 40s for everyone. We'll be watching it!
