8:00 pm Update: Just a few high clouds here and there through midnight. Temperatures are dropping quickly into the middle and upper 40s now. Rain showers should arrive between 6 am & 9 am Wednesday morning.
5:00 pm Update: Mostly clear skies will be the rule thru this evening. Temperatures are mild in the upper 50s to near 60 most spots. Grab the sweater this evening as temperatures fall through the 50s through 9pm. Skies will remain mainly clear thru midnight tonight. scattered clouds will slide in from the northwest during the pre-dawn hours. Lows tonight will drop into the lower 40s.
A weak cold front will drop in across the area during the morning on Wednesday. Widely scattered rain showers are possible with the front, mainly during the morning hours. The highest chances for rain will be closest to Lake Erie. Farther south, rain chances drop off dramatically. So, areas near and south of Route 224 have small chances for rain on Wednesday. High temperatures will creep back up into the middle 50s during the afternoon as drier air works in from the west.
4:00 pm Update: Morning lows were cold! Wooster led the way with a morning low of 28 degrees. Youngstown, Ravenna, & Orwell each registered 29 degrees. Massillon & Kent bottomed out at a frosty 30 degrees.
It's a sunny and breezy afternoon with temperatures gradually warming to the upper 50s. We'll hit 58 degrees by 4 p.m. Temperatures will drop to the low 50s this evening.
High pressure over the East Coast will keep the sky mainly clear tonight. Unlike the past few nights, temperatures will be warmer due to a southerly breeze. Lows will hit the low-to-mid 40s across Northeast Ohio.
Clouds increase Wednesday morning ahead of a cold front. Expect scattered showers along the front during the morning rush through noon. Lingering showers are possible east of Cleveland until early evening.
High pressure rebuilds Thursday, providing dry and pleasant weather. Highs will hit the low 60s.
A weak front crosses the state Friday, but I don't expect much more than an isolated shower. Friday night football games look dry!
A warm front will bump highs to 65 degrees Saturday and 70 degrees Sunday. Showers are possible late Saturday and again Sunday and Monday as a cold front finally arrives.
