10:00 pm Update: Showers have ended across all but the extreme eastern part of Ohio. Skies are also clearing from the northwest. Lows tonight will drop down to near 50 degrees tonight.
Skies should be mainly sunny thru the day on Friday. Highs should creep up into the middle and upper 60s.
More dry weather for the Friday evening high school football games. Temperatures will fall into the 50s by 9pm. Just a sweater needed overnight.
Saturday will be dry. More sunshine with a few high clouds mixing in. High temperatures will once again climb into the middle and upper 60s.
Computer forecasts susggest a low pressure center developing over Northern Ohio on Sunday. That would likely mean clouds and at least scattered rain showers during the day Sunday. High temperatures will likely struggle to reach 60s degrees to end the weekend.
8:00 pm Update: Showers are finally leaving. Just a few light rain showers lefover near Canton, Dover, New Phily, Ashtabula, Jefferson & Conneaut. SHowers should be done by 11pm.
3:30 pm Update: Low pressure near Steubenville, Ohio has stirred up more rain showers for Northern Ohio today. A few light showers are possible across all of Northern Ohio thru 8 pm tonight. Then, as the low pulls away, dry air should finally push in. Some clearing is expected tonight, especially across the northernmost counties. Temperatures should drop back into the upper 40s area wide.
12:06 p.m. Update: Most of the showers are holding south of the turnpike at the noon hour as temperatures are holding in the middle and upper 50s. Be sure to keep the rain gear around through the afternoon. The latest models are pushing the last wave of rain through closer to your evening commute with dry air pushing in. Expect a mainly dry, partly cloudy night with more sunshine expected Friday.

Rain that was over Rt. 30 this morning has weakened and drifted north into Summit, Portage, Medina, Huron and Lorain Counties. Expect spotty light rain through 11 a.m.
Low pressure crossing southern Ohio along a stalled front will produce more light rain for southern counties, including Ashland, Richland, Holmes, Wayne, Tuscarawas and Stark from 10 a.m. through early afternoon.
Clouds will eventually clear this evening from north to south as high pressure moves across the Great Lakes. Highs temperatures will only hit the low-to-mid 60s.
Expect partly cloudy to mostly clear skies overnight. Lows will fall to the upper 40s.
High pressure will provide sunshine Friday. Highs will be comfortable, in the mid-60s. The forecast also looks great for the Akron Marathon on Saturday. Morning temperatures will hover near 50 degrees with highs in the upper 60s.
Clouds increase Sunday as an upper level low hangs over the eastern Great Lakes. I'll include a chance of showers with partly sunny skies. Highs will hit the low 60s.
