A cold front drops into the area on Friday. Clouds will thicken up during the morning hours with rain showers and even a thunderstorm arriving by mid to late afternoon. Rain looks to be steady during many of the high school football games Friday evening. With temperatures falling thru the 50s during the evening, grab the rain gear and the warm outerwear!
Chilly air settles in for Saturday and Sunday. Scattered rain showers are likely both days. I can't rule out an ice pellet or a wet snow flake mixing to any rain shower, especially during the evenings and overnights. Highs both days will struggle to reach 50 degrees. Overnight lows will drop back into the 30s.
Skies should begin to clear out Sunday night, setting the stage for our first widespread frost of the season Monday morning!
We're seeing high clouds this afternoon roll through, but temps will stay on the mild side into the upper 60s and low 70s. We'll see another decent fall day Thursday with highs in the 70s, before a very strong cold front slides in for Friday and the weekend. Highs for Saturday and Sunday may not reach into the low 50s.
There is a chance with the cold air moving in, that some may see their first snow flakes Saturday or even Sunday. But it won't accumulate and will probably mix in with some rain.
Some areas are partly cloudy, others mostly cloudy this morning.
Low pressure over Lake Michigan is moving northeast as high pressure builds over West Virginia and Kentucky. The sky will gradually clear by evening. Expect above average high temperatures in the low 70s along with muggy conditions.
The Indians play their last game this evening and the forecast looks great! Partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 60s. No rain!
Mostly clear skies are in the forecast tonight with lows in the mid-50s.
Look for sunshine Thursday as high pressure remains in control. Highs will hit the low-to-mid 70s.
A strong cold front will move across the Midwest Friday, triggering scattered showers Friday afternoon and evening. Highs will only reach the low 60s.
Much colder air arrives Saturday with rain likely early in the day. Highs will hover in the mid-50s Saturday, followed by lows near 40 degrees.
Highs will struggle to reach 50 degrees Sunday with lake effect rain showers possible east of Cleveland. Low temperatures Sunday night will drop to the 30s across Northeast Ohio!
