CLEVELAND - 8:17 pm Update: Thundershower moving across Lake Erie now headed southeast toward Kingsville & Conneaut by 8:45pm. Brief moderate rain likely.

7:05 pm Update:  Low pressure will move eastward across Ohio tonight. Not much rain or thunder associated with this feature right now. I do see a couple of thundershowers popping over Southern Ontario at this hour. An isolated thundershower is possible tonight as the low moves by. Evening temperatures will hover in the 50s. Skies should remain partly to mostly cloudy all night. Low temperatures by dawn will average in the middle 40s.

3:05 pm Update: First wave of thundershowers have faded away. These were associated with a warm front moving east into Ohio. Sunshine is breaking out now across much of the area and that trend will continue through the rest of today. Sunshine and milder southerly winds should help bump temperatures up into the upper 50s near Lake Erie and lower to middle 60s inland.

Rain is now clearing greater Cleveland with drier air moving in. Temps are in the upper 40s, but I do expect temps to rebound through the afternoon to near 60, if not higher if we get some sun.

We're seeing some heavy rains moving through Cuyahoga county, sliding NW to SE with some thunder embedded, too. Showers should move through Medina county into Summit county. We should become rain free by 2-3pm through the region.

Update: Clouds will increase from north to south this morning as thunderstorms move into western Ohio. Erie, Huron, Lorain, Ashland and Richland Counties will likely see scattered showers and thunderstorms before noon.

9:00 a.m. Update: Showers and thunderstorms over southern Michigan are diving into western Ohio. Our western counties including Erie, Huron, Lorain, Ashland and Richland may be clipped with some rain and clouds through noon. Otherwise, expect mild temperatures in the 60s today. Clouds will increase after morning sunshine.
____________
As high pressure moves east, warm southerly winds will flow into Northeast Ohio this afternoon. High temperatures will jump to 66 degrees near the lake and near 70 farther south.

We have a chance of showers and thunderstorms today as a warm front moves north. Otherwise, look for morning sun and increasing afternoon clouds.

Low pressure will cross the state tonight, producing a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low temperatures will be mild, in the mid-40s.

After morning clouds gradually clear Wednesday, we're in for sunshine and cooler temperatures. Highs will only reach the low 50s and it will be breezy.

Opening Day will be sunny and dry... But chilly! Expect a high of 50 degrees, but it will feel colder with a breeze from the north. Take a jacket!

The upcoming holiday weekend looks great. Temperatures warm to the low 60s Saturday and Easter Sunday. A cold front will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday afternoon.
