CLEVELAND - HEAT ADVISORY Tuesday from 11am to 8pm for all areas WEST of Interstate 77. Temperatures in the middle 90s, coupled with high humidity, will yield a "feels like" heat index between 100 and 105 degrees!
10:19 pm Update: Temperatures are still in the 80s in many spots. Lows tonight will drop into the 70s. Mid-90s Tuesday!!!
8:00 pm Update: CLE hit 90 again today for the 16th time in 2012. Still far below 1988's 35 days of 90+. CLE's record high tomorrow is 96 (1943). Forecast high Tuesday is 96 degrees. Akron/Canton's record high for tomorrow is 99 degrees. Forecast high for Tuesday is 97. Mansfield's record high for tomorrow is 101 degrees. Forecast high for Mansfield Tuesday is 97 degrees.
3:45 pm Update: More heat and humidity building in through midweek. Temperatures this evening will hang in the 80s. We will stay dry. Lows tonight will drop down to between 70 and 75 degrees.
The heat intensifies on Tuesday. Highs will climb into the middle 90s in most spots under searing sunshine. No rain is expected on Tuesday.
A cold front approaches the area Wednesday. Clouds will increase during the afternoon with scattered thunderstorms developing by evening. A few of the storms could contain damaging winds and hail. Highs on Wednesday could hit 90 degrees again.

It's a muggy start to the day with temperatures in the 80s and dew points in near 70. Expect mostly sunny skies with a few clouds near the lake.
By lunchtime, temperatures will reach the mid-80s. Highs in the upper 80s are likely near the lake, with low 90s Akron and south. It will be dry through tonight.
Overnight temperatures will fall to near 70 degrees under mainly clear skies.
Tuesday will be the hottest day of the week with highs in the mid-90s. Heat index values will hit 100 in some areas. Isolated thunderstorms are possible Tuesday afternoon and evening.
A cold front approaches Wednesday with a chance of scattered showers and storms. The front will be slow to move into Northeast Ohio, so expect highs in the upper 80s.
By Thursday, cooler more comfortable air will filter into the state. Highs will only hit the low-to-mid 80s through the end of the week.
Right now, the weekend looks great! Highs will hit the low 80s Saturday and mid-80s Sunday. Lows in the 60s.

A confirmed tornado touched down near Denver International Airport Tuesday afternoon, sending travelers on the concourse, on planes and in the terminal scrambling to get into tornado shelters.
