11:00 pm Update: Enjoy the warm weather while it lasts. A blast of fall is coming for the weekend. Mostly clear skies are noted on the satellite map just west of Interstate 71. that clearing is moving our way. So, that means clouds should decrease for a while overnight with evening temperatures in the upper 60s & lower 70s. Mainly clear to partly cloudy skies will be the rule tonight with low temperatures dropping back to between 55 & 60 degrees.

Cold front arrives Friday morning. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a few isolated morning rain showers possible. I think the bulk of the rain will come in behind the cold front, during the afternoon and evening. Keep an eye out for scattered rain showers during those Friday night high school football games! Friday's high temperatures will top out in the lower and middle 60s by early afternoon. But, then, I would expect them to drop back well into the 50s by the afternoon rush hour.

Saturday looks chilly. Highs will range between 50 & 55 degrees. Skies will be partly sunny. There will likely be a few showers around during the day.

Saturday night brings more widely scattered rain showers and low temperatures in the 38 to 43 degree range. The air will be cold enough Saturday night, that any rain showers could spit out a wet snowflake or a few ice pellets. Most of you will NOT see any snow or ice this weekend. Best chance will be over higher elevations.

Sunday will be the coolest day of the weekend. High temperatures will struggle to reach 50 degrees. Lake effect rain shower are possible. I can't rule out ice pellets or wet snowflakes mixing in to any rain shower, especially over higher elevations during the morning hours.

12:01 p.m. Update: Enjoy the sunshine and warmth the rest of your Thursday. Temperatures are currently near 70º with highs expected to hit the middle 70s. Clouds increase tonight and the rain returns tomorrow along with a drastic cool down.

High pressure will keep sunshine in the forecast today with highs near 75 degrees. Our average high for this time of the year is 67. Enjoy the warm weather while it lasts because 60s return tomorrow!

Clouds will increase overnight as a strong cold front approaches from the Midwest. Low temperatures will fall to the mid-50s.

The front will trigger areas of rain and scattered showers Friday afternoon and evening. Right now, it looks like Friday night football games will be soggy. Rain is also likely early Saturday before the front moves east.

Highs will hit the mid-50s Saturday as cold air moves in behind the front. We'll struggle to reach the low 50s Sunday afternoon with lake effect rain showers likely east of Cleveland.

Weekend low temperatures will also be chilly. Expect widespread temperatures in the 30s Saturday and Sunday night. Some areas southwest of Cleveland could dip to the lower 30s. We'll be watching!
