9:35 pm Update: High pressure will build into the area beginning tonight. Any isolated showers still out there now should quickly fade as sunset approaches. Skies this evening and overnight will be clear to partly cloudy. Cooler air out of the north will help our overnight temperatures drop down to between 50 & 55 degrees.
Saturday looks outstanding. With high pressure overhead, skies should remain mostly sunny through the day. Highs will climb into the lower and middle 70s area wide.
Dry & cool for Saturday night with a hint of fall in the air. Low temperatures drop in to the lower 50s.
Sunday should be as nice as Saturday. I expect bright sunshine through the day with high temperatures into the middle 70s. Should be a great weekend for outdoor activities! Enjoy!
3:00 pm Update: A few sprinkles near the Lake Erie Islands/Port Clinton/Milan are fading now. Partly to mostly sunny for the rest of today.
Noon: Isolated showers continue to pop up south and east of Cleveland now. Isolated showers are evident on Power of 5 Doppler Network Radar over Geauga, Ashtabula, Portage & Summit Counties. Showers are light and brief. They are moving southeast at 25 mph. Skies should become partly cloudy for everyone thru the afternoon with high temperatures in the middle 70s. An isolated shower is still possible thru about mid afternoon. The evening will stay dry with temperatures in the lower and middle 70s.
10:00 a.m. Update: Expect rain to end by 11 a.m. in Tuscarawas, Carroll and Holmes Counties. The sun is already shining in western Ohio and clouds will clear from west to east this afternoon. Great weather for the Akron Aeros this evening and the Lake and Huron County Fairs!

A cold front is moving through Northeast Ohio this morning. Scattered showers are possible along the front during the morning commute. Showers will end by 9 a.m., followed by gradual clearing. It's already sunny in western Ohio!
After hitting 86 degrees yesterday, highs will fall to the mid-70s this afternoon. Breezy northwesterly winds will bring in cooler and drier air for the weekend.
Under mostly clear skies tonight, lows will fall to the low-to-mid 50s.
High pressure builds in strong Saturday and Sunday, keeping the sky sunny and temperatures comfortable. Highs will hit 74 Saturday and 75 Sunday.
Pleasant temperatures continue as many kids go back to school next week. Expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the 70s through Tuesday. Low 80s Wednesday and Thursday.
