A weak cold front will slide south to Lake Erie on Wednesday. The front will likely stall out before reaching Northern Ohio. It will be close enough to spawn a couple of thunderstorms by mid to late afternoon across the area. Highs will climb back into the middle and upper 80s.
A upper level trough of low pressure will drop into Ohio beginning Thursday. A surface cold front will drop into the area on Thursday. Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will move in as well. Highs will range from the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Much cooler air spills into the area on Friday. Clouds & scattered rain showers/thunderstorms will rotate in from the northwest during the day. It will be breezy as well, as high temperatures struggle into the lower and middle 70s.
4:00 pm Update: High pressure overhead right now. That is yielding mainly clear skies. Any cumulus clouds now should fade away after sunset, leaving starry skies and mild temperatures. Evening readings will slowly fall thru the 70s. Lows tonight will fall into the middle and upper 50s. That means a great night with comfortable sleeping.
