CLEVELAND - 10:00 pm Update:  A double- barreled high pressure system will slide east through the lower Great Lakes and Ohio Valley now through Wednesday morning. Fair weather will be the result across Northern Ohio. Skies tonight will stay clear and starry. Low temperatures will drop into the middle and upper 50s tonight. Humidity will also stay low.

Tuesday looks sunny with warm highs in the middle 80s.

A weak cold front will slide south to Lake Erie on Wednesday. The front will likely stall out before reaching Northern Ohio. It will be close enough to spawn a couple of thunderstorms by mid to late afternoon across the area. Highs will climb back into the middle and upper 80s.

A upper level trough of low pressure will drop into Ohio beginning Thursday. A surface cold front will drop into the area on Thursday. Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will move in as well. Highs will range from the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Much cooler air spills into the area on Friday. Clouds & scattered rain showers/thunderstorms will rotate in from the northwest during the day. It will be breezy as well, as high temperatures struggle into the lower and middle 70s.

4:00 pm Update: High pressure overhead right now. That is yielding mainly clear skies. Any cumulus clouds now should fade away after sunset, leaving starry skies and mild temperatures. Evening readings will slowly fall thru the 70s. Lows tonight will fall into the middle and upper 50s. That means a great night with comfortable sleeping.

Dew points have dropped significantly this morning. You'll notice lower humidity as soon as you step outside!

High pressure over the Midwest will bring sunshine a northerly breeze this afternoon. Highs will barely hit 80 degrees near the lake, while low 80s are likely south. Our average high for this time of the year is 82 degrees.

Under clear skies tonight, lows will hit the mid-to-upper 50s.

More sunshine is in store Tuesday as high pressure sits overhead. Highs warm to the mid-80s Wednesday as the high moves over the Mid-Atlantic.

A slight chance of rain arrives Thursday ahead of a cold front. The best chance of rain comes early Friday as the front passes. Cooler temperatures in the upper 70s will follow through the weekend.
