5:00 p.m. Update: Temps touched 90º across NE Ohio. Sunny, hot & humid weather will continue all the way to summer, which will start at 7:09 p.m.
Noon Update: Temperatures have already warmed to near 90º! We will break into the 90s today with our sights set on 92-95º for afternoon highs. Be sure to drink plenty of water, take frequent break and don't over-do it today. Heat sickness comes on quickly with 90º heat.

Welcome to the first day of summer! We're in for another hot and humid day in Northeast Ohio. The heat and humidity will be high through Thursday.
By lunchtime, temperatures will soar to the upper 80s. Highs will hit 93 degrees this afternoon. Look for hazy sunshine with a breeze from the west.
Overnight lows will hover near 70 degrees under mainly clear skies.
An approaching cold front will increase cloud cover Thursday. Temperatures will still approach 90 degrees with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. The best chance comes around sunset.
Behind the front, highs will drop to 80 degrees Friday. Saturday looks beautiful with sunshine and highs in the low 80s. Humidity will be much lower and more comfortable.
A weak front drops in Sunday with our next chance of rain. Expect a few showers and thunderstorms then.
Next week, 70s are back with mostly sunny skies.

A confirmed tornado touched down near Denver International Airport Tuesday afternoon, sending travelers on the concourse, on planes and in the terminal scrambling to get into tornado shelters.
