10:00 pm Update: Scattered rain showers will continue tonight. They will taper off in many areas after 2am. Skies will remain cloudy with low temperatures dropping down to near 43 degrees.

Saturday looks chilly. Highs will climb back into the lower 50s. WIth an upper level low rotating across lake Erie, widely scattered rain showers are likely through mid to late afternoon. Skies will be mostly cloudy, Winds could gust above 25 miles per hour.

Only an isolated shower chance for everyone Saturday night as drier air works in from the west. Skies should become partly cloudy during the evening hours, so many of you will get a glimpse of the Orionid Meteor shower after sunset. Saturday lows will drop into the 30s.

Sunday will be the nicest day of the weekend. Highs temperatures climb up to near 60 degrees with mainly sunny skies.

6:00 pm Update: Rain has arrived across Lorain County now and is creeping into the Western Suburbs of Cleveland. Showers are also spreading into the Akron, Canton area now. Rain will overspread the entire region by 10 pm tonight. Temperatures west of interstate 71 will fall back into the upper 40s by 8pm. Dress warmly!

4:00 pm Update: Rain showers approaching the Lake Erie Islands to Sandusky south to Mansfield now. Showers will slowly shift northeast and invade Greater Cleveland/Akron/Canton by 8pm. High school football fans should prepare for at least some rain tonight during the evening hours. Temperatures will slide slowly thru the 50s tonight. Lows will drop down to near 43 degrees. Showers will continue on and off thru at least 2 am. Skies will remain cloudy.

12:35 pm Update:  Rain will continue to slide slowly eastward as we head through the afternoon. Expect an increasingly wet rest of the day. By sunset, most of Ohio will be getting a steady soaking rain. Temperatures will top out near 60 before dropping into the 50s and eventually 40s overnight. A few isolated showers will linger overnight.

8:57 am Update: Other than a few sprinkles this morning, we have been mainly dry. Clouds will continue to push into our sky throughout the morning as temps slowly warm to near 60 by noon. Rain arrives as early as 2pm in our western counties.

Our slow moving storm system will continue to impact us on our Friday. Temperatures today hold in the upper 50s and lower 60s as clouds continue to spin our direction. Expect increasing clouds today building up to afternoon and evening showers. The rain will push into Ohio throughout the afternoon and by the time the evening commute rolls around we will be tracking scattered rain on the Power of 5. Make sure you pack the ponchos and rain gear for your Friday Night Football games. Another soggy Friday night!

A few showers will linger overnight as the storms creeps east over Ohio. Throughout our Saturday a few showers will stay in the forecast but we will start to dry out. By Saturday evening, the rain will push east and out of Ohio. Temperatures will stay in the lower 50s Saturday before the warm-up begins.

Sunshine returns Sunday along with a quick warm-up. High temperatures will jump to near 70 by Sunday afternoon with lower 70s likely Monday. Our next warm front will bring rain keeping us out of the middle 70s but we will hold on to lower 70s Tuesday as rain approaches for the middle of the week.
